Family photo--Finally!!!!

We finally got a family photo where everyone was smiling! We've been trying for years, but Lily has always gotten upset and we end up giving up. Since everyone was dressed up for church this morning and Lily was in such a happy mood, we thought we'd give it another try.

Coult won tickets for the Brazos Valley Bombers baseball game this evening. We were sitting in the front row reserved seats right behind home plate! We had the seats where there's a staff member assigned to the area to go and get our food and drinks for us. That was pretty cool too! It was a double-header, but we left after the first game. Natalie loved it of course, and we were pleasantly surprised that Lily lasted the whole two hours. It was very pretty hot and muggy, but not unbearable. Natalie and Lily also had fun playing some of the kids games that they had available there. Best of all, the Bombers won the game 3 to 1! It was a really fun family outing!

Laurie and her fiance Aaron came up to visit us over the weekend. We had so much fun while they were here! Lily calls Aaron "Laurie's Aaron" because she knows she already has an Uncle Aaron serving a mission in England. It's going to be really confusing when she and Natalie have two uncles named Aaron!

This past weekend, we went to my parent's house so we could go to Kenadie's baby blessing on Sunday. Michael's family came too. Natalie and Michael's little sister Sherry had a blast with Tye's sidewalk paint!

Natalie has been in Houston all week with Aunt Shirley. So, Coult, Lily, and I decided to make a quick trip down to my parents for the 4th of July holiday. The rest of the extended family was gathering at PaPaw's for a fish fry and we were lonely up in College Station all by ourselves. It was probably crazy to drive 2.5 hrs for a fish fry, but it sure was worth it! We had a great time!
