Tye, Kenadie, Aunt Alisa and Grandma came to visit us earlier this week. We had lots of fun while they were here! We tried to get a pic of all the cousins together, but they just wouldn't cooperate too well! LOL Lily absolutely refused to have anything to do with a "group picture". And we couldn't keep Tye or Kenadie still long enough. But, we got some cute pictures anyway. I especially love the one of Tye waving at me and the one of Kenadie trying to walk in Lily's tennis shoes! It was hilarious! Enjoy the pics!
Looks like ya'll had fun!!! I can't believe how big all the kids are getting. Seeing them once a year isn't enough for me.... I wish we lived closer...Sending hugs and love to all....
"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away."
Coult and I were married on Nov. 5, 1993. We have three wonderful children, Natalie, Lily & Joshua. Coult is a Respiratory Therapist, a wonderful husband and a great dad! I enjoy being a wife and a mother. I love to read and spend time with my family and friends.
Natalie Noelle is 14 years old. She is such a wonderful daughter and big sister. She loves art, writing and reading. She's enjoying being on the newspaper staff at her middle school. Natalie is a wonderful example to me of being patient and kind to others.
Lily
Lily Grace is 9 yrs old and keeps us laughing with her cute comments. She loves snails, books, and games. She absolutely adores Joshua! She has several medical challenges, including PDD-NOS, which is a form of autism. She also has a very rare genetic disorder called "Cranioectodermal dysplasia" aka Sensenbrenner Syndrome. (only 16 cases world-wide) But more importantly, she is a great example of strength and perseverance. I kept a journal of her first few years @ www.caringbridge.org/tx/lily
Joshua
Joshua Ellis just turned 1 year old. He has such an adorable smile! He loves to make us laugh. He has his sisters wrapped around his little finger!
Lily has no idea how much she makes us smile and laugh with her cute comments. Her Aunt Alisa calls them "lilyisms". Several people have asked me to share them, so here are a few of the more recent ones:
~Lily was trying to save something on our computer the other day and it wouldn't work. I asked her what was wrong and she said "I guess the computer ran out of "saves"!
~This week during one of her OT sessions, Lily and her therapist were using a peg board and some rubber bands to make alphabet letters. The OT told her to pick up a pink one. Lily promptly told her that it wasn't pink, it was "faded red"!
~The other afternoon, Lily could only find one of her socks. She said "Well, I guess I can only wear one shoe then!"
~On Sunday, one of Lily's previous Primary teachers saw her in the hall and leaned down to tell her hello. Instead of saying "hello" back, Lily grabbed his tie and said "That's a new tie!". He couldn't believe it! He told her that his wife hadn't even noticed his new tie!
I know there are more. As I remember them, I will add them to the list.
